Featuring Marco Brambilla

As part of the Surrealism exhibition, media art by Marco Brambilla, an Italian-born artist based in London, will be shown in the Nordic countries for the first time. His work Heaven’s Gate (2022), featured in Tampere, has been regarded as a commentary on American maximalism and the onslaught of imagery, serving as a kind of metaverse or hyperreality for our time.
